35. Do the Right Thing in the Open
A short, firm rule about acting in the open.
When you do anything from a clear judgment that it ought to be done, never avoid being seen to do it, even if the world should form a wrong opinion about it.
If you are not acting rightly, avoid the action itself.
If you are acting rightly, why are you afraid of those who will blame you wrongly?
What this means. Do the right thing where people can see you. If the act is good, their opinion is not your problem.
